The Montana High School Association recognizes the sports teams with the highest grade point averages in each Class level. The Joliet High School varsity girls' track team tied for 1st and 2nd in Class B for the highest grade point average with a 3.59. Way to go, girls!!!

NorthWestern Energy sponsors academic excellence awards for the four athletic classifications – AA, A, B, and C, in the State of Montana. This is based on the overall grade point average of all students participating in MHSA athletic, music, and speech/drama programs.
With this only being our 2nd season as a class “B” school, we really feel good about the direction we are going and also how we are going to get there. What we have to do is to turn it into a reality on the field. We are very confident that it will happen and we are looking forward to a great season. – Coach George Warburton
